It’s so hard to get back to work after you’ve been at PTO. I think it’s even worse during the summer.
I had PTO a couple weeks ago and this was my first full week back. It just felt really hard to be motivated to get things done. I think in general the summer doesn’t help that. Part of it is that the kids are hanging around the house and they I think they make me feel like I want to hang around the house too.
But next week they will be back in school and the house will truly be more of my office. Hopefully that won’t make me feel less motivated. I’m trying to look for the positives.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Eric Anthony
- Tuesday: Sherman Corbett, Bryan Little
- Wednesday: Albert Bentley
- Thursday: Jeremy Sowers
- Friday: Mike Richardt
- Saturday: Rejean Lemelin
- Sunday: Dan Pasqua
This was a week to dig through the oldest stuff in the backlog. The backlog is getting pretty old at this point too. So no themes this week.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: I want Gandy…
- Tuesday: Rider of the storm…
- Tuesday: Netflix and Chilcutt…
- Wednesday: Let’s go Brandon…
- Thursday: Soul Sister…
- Thursday: Pollard want a cracker?
- Friday: Stan the man…
- Saturday: Klingler wrap…
- Sunday: Hit the Mark…
Not only is there a theme this week, but I planned in a bonus post as well. It’s back to school week for my kids this week so #backtoschool is the theme. All the posts this week will have something to do with school… mostly college but there will be a sort of high school post in there too.
Other Notes
I had 19 successful returns this week, so a pretty good one. It didn’t really feel like a 19 return week but that’s not what my spreadsheets say… so I’ll go with the spreadsheets. I got a little bit of everything except basketball (which I haven’t really sent out in a bit). But I also got a return back from the first private signing I’ve ever done and it was a good one… Mookie Wilson via 5 Tool Signings.
One major straggler this week and then one other more normal stragglers: Kurt Stillwell (787) and Rulon Jones (205). I also had two failures from Bob Tolan, who charges more than I thought, and Mark Williamson, who has a new address.
The new Recent TTM Success is updated.
Have a great week!
