I’ve had a ton of fun watching the Olympics these past few weeks. It might sound funny but some of my favorite parts have been the announcers. Some of them have been doing these event for years and some seem new, but either way I have my favorites.
I watch just about any sport that’s on and with the Peacock app and skipping around or watching Gold Zone, you really get to experience a lot of them. You just have to hear the folks that are on the prime time broadcasts.
I think my highlights have been Laurie Hernandez in gymnasts and the main track team. Laurie Hernandez is my favorite because you can hear how much she cares and loves the sport and those performing. Obviously she loves the U.S. athletes, but even the other countries. I think my favorite quote I remember from here was, “Its vault finals and I’m twisting my hair and kicking my feet!”
The main track trio of Lee Diffey, Ato Boldon and Sanya Richards-Ross… oh my god I think I could listen to them talk about anything. They definitely get you up for the events and they seem to talk about the sport in a really relatable way. They’ve been working with each other for years and you can tell. I loved when Lee Diffey did Formula 1 so getting to hear him is great.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!

Other Notes
No failures is always a good week, but my totals have started to slowly sag a bit. This week I had 15 successful returns though.
There was only one straggler and that started off the week. Brian Rolston returned one to me after 650 days. I also got back a team return from Duane Kuiper who signed three via the Giants. I haven’t gotten a paid return back in a little bit it seems, or at least they’ve slowed.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
