Review / Preview – Week of 7/18

TTM Review Preview

This weekend I’ve been doing a pretty major review of my TTM cards. I went all the way back through my doubles to pull out any guys that I’ve seen sign and the refill some of my the old faithful signers. I have about four or five boxes of things set aside that I could get out to people – not that it all goes out.

I pulled all the cards and now I try to sort them into alphabet chunks. I don’t alphabetize them but I do put all the A’s together, the B’s, etc.. It’s a time consuming process but fortunately there’s baseball to watch. That included the long doubleheader the Mets had yesterday. That’s always some good sorting and letter writing time.

Hope you are all having a great weekend!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

This week I had a Padres themed #twofortuesday with Dave Dravecky and Brian Meadows. They actually covered two versions of Padres uniforms too which I liked. I guess I also could have had “Ed” themed posts with Zosky and Vande Berg.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Gettin’ close to his month… kind of…
  • Tuesday: Dougie Fresh…
  • Tuesday: I love to each red Rajsiches…
  • Wednesday: You rang?
  • Thursday: The Bull…
  • Friday: In the John…
  • Saturday: Take Evason manuevers…
  • Sunday: You might like butts but I’m a Niemann…

No theme for the #twofortuesday this week. I’m just knocking out the oldest stuff on my backlog list.

Other Notes

This week felt like another interesting all-or-nothing week. I got 20 returns and no failures – a really good week actually. But the crazy part was that fourteen of them were over two days and eighteen of them were over three days. There were a few stragglers including one a lot of people got back this week in Mike Leake. I got mine back that I sent in Spring Training four years ago but mine wasn’t the longest return out there. I saw someone else who had sent to him in 2015.

The new Recent TTM Success is updated.

Have a great week!
