This weekend is one of those holiday weekends with a lot going on. Family functions, end of school functions, family stuff to do, yardwork… It’s all happening!
Sometimes having a busy weekend is nice. I know I like to feel like I’ve accomplished something. The yard is looking good, there’s things kept up and clean… it’s nice to see and it definitely removes a level of stress.
But that said, sometimes it’s also nice to do nothing. Hopefully my holiday tomorrow will be a bit of nothing.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Mike Mason
- Tuesday: Mark Gubicza, Tony Dumas
- Wednesday: Dennis Lamp
- Thursday: Frank Tanana
- Friday: Jim Walewander
- Saturday: Mo Sanford
- Sunday: Andrei Kirilenko
The last week was mostly baseball with a little bit of basketball mixed in. I was really just getting through a few of the dupes in my backlog. No special themes or anything like that.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: One of the strongest in the spectacles game…
- Tuesday: JJ…
- Tuesday: Orton ears an oo…
- Wednesday: That’s the fact, Jack…
- Thursday: Don’t leave any Krumries…
- Friday: The wizard of…
- Saturday: Best. Name. Ever.
- Sunday: I have a Hinch…
The #twofortuesday doesn’t have a theme for this week again. I’m just working my way through the oldest in the backlog.
Other Notes
This was another slow week, but it didn’t have to be. I can’t remember how many it actually is because Informed Delivery only lets you go back a week, but I swear there was a good half dozen returns that didn’t actually make it to my door. Maybe they are with a neighbor and I’ll see them later. Or maybe that are just lost, always a disappointing thought.
I had twelve returns come back successfully this week and one failure. The failure I had was Alan Trammell and I know I forgot to put money in that envelope. So I’m hoping that’s the only reason why it was returns. Otherwise Sparky Lyle was my paid return this week. I also had two stragglers with Chris Ray at 837 days and Tim Foli at 577 days.

Have a great week!
