This has to be one of my favorite times of year for sports watching. It’s final four weekend, baseball is rolling, I’ve got a Premier League rivalry going as I write this… good stuff.
Sure things aren’t necessarily going as I’d like for some of the teams I root for. But it feels good just to have things to watch.
I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised by how much I can watch via streaming, expecially with HBO Max having TNT stuff for the tournament and for hockey. Plus the ESPN+ app has been pretty good for watching hockey as well. I think all that’s gotten much better since I move to streaming.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Matt Whiteside
- Tuesday: Charlie Hough, Fred Kendall
- Wednesday: John Olerud
- Thursday: Bob Montgomery
- Friday: Wayne Edwards
- Saturday: Lerrin LaGrow
- Sunday: Zane Smith
I didn’t have anything for the #twofortuesday last week. And I’m realizing it was all baseball last week as well.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Release the Kragen…
- Tuesday: Mr. Robinson…
- Tuesday: Fox-y outfielder…
- Wednesday: I love a good Ballard…
- Thursday: Chuckie Cheese…
- Friday: Not Dyingstone…
- Saturday: He Stans…
- Sunday: A la Mota…
There’s no #twofortuesday this week. Nothing really came up for the things that were due in the backlog.
Other Notes
18 returns for the week is pretty great. I’m hoping there isn’t a drop off in coming weeks, but I keep sending out steadily like I always do. Also there were no failures this week. I got back two pretty good stragglers from Dave Telgheder (462 days) and Dennis Rasmussen (244 days), but other than that nothing really crazy on the list.
Over the last week I’ve been reorganizing and think that will help a bunch. I went through all my doubles for each sport and pulled some new cards and I have some new organization to my boxes and everything.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
