I might be behind some people, but this was my first weekend of Spring yardwork. While it is tough on the old man, I feel like its one of my best times to get some activity, listen to some music or a podcast, get some thinking done, and really just do something that has a concrete result.
I don’t really have a lawn. I always say I have some green weeds. But let me tell you, a good mow does whatever green stuff on my property well and things look good after its done. Yes, I do admire it a little once I finish.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Greg Kragen
- Tuesday: Don Robinson, Eric Fox
- Wednesday: Jeff Ballard
- Thursday: Charles Hudson
- Friday: Scott Livingstone
- Saturday: Stan Royer
- Sunday: Manny Mota
I didn’t put anything together for the #twofortuesday last week. I could have done a Cardinals one, but Jeff Ballard was the second guy in a Cards uniform and I don’t think he actually played for them. For what ended up getting posted on Tuesday, I could have themed it after the Bay Area, but I realized it after the fact.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Its Miller Time…
- Tuesday: Scanlan Tron…
- Tuesday: Jody, Jody, Jody, Jodeeeeey…
- Wednesday: On your Mark…
- Thursday: Eyre exam…
- Friday: Acres of land…
- Saturday: Blood and Gordie…
- Sunday: Tom Tom…
The #twofortuesday this week will be all Chicago and really all Cubs. I had three Chicago choices that happened to come up in the backlog this week that would fit the theme but I’m going with Cubs specifically.
Other Notes
I got back 16 successful returns this week which keeps up the good momentum I’ve been having. Also, there weren’t any failures in that mix either. There was only one straggler that was over 200 days and that was from Torey Lovullo who returned after 216 days. There was only one other return over 100 days out for the week.
The Recent TTM Success page will be updated next weekend.
Have a great week!
