This was a week of not much going on and everything going on. Work just feels crazy with some long hours and things like that. That happens when a project for some new systems are going to release in about a couple week’s time. Plus I might have to travel again for some of that.
But personally not much is happening. After long days at work it’s just hard to even want to get into anything. That means I don’t keep up with the blog well definitely. But somehow I am keeping up just enough.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has a great week!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Bob Molinaro
- Tuesday: Adam Piatt, Jeff Newman
- Wednesday: Sid Monge
- Thursday: Brad Johnson
- Friday: Dwight Bernard
- Saturday: Aaron Laffey
- Sunday: Fergie Jenkins
The #twofortuesday was brought to you by the letter A this past week. More specifically it was a bunch of A’s. It was also a week with a good amount of first timers for me (Piatt, Johnson, Bernard, Laffey, and Jenkins).
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Glengarry Glen…
- Tuesday: On the Mark…
- Tuesday: Simms to me…
- Wednesday: He’s mad…
- Thursday: Wagner the dog…
- Friday: Mr. Wendell…
- Saturday: …the funky homosapien
- Sunday: Gotta make sure to use that middle initial for this guy…
There’s no theme to the #twofortuesday posts this coming week. I could do it by last names, I guess… nope, too lazy!
Other Notes
This was a bit of a lighter week of returns. You can definitely tell that I’ve been sending out less more recently. I got back fifteen returns this week. But even that felt a little odd because it was definitely more focused in the beginning of the week. As for the successes I got back thirteen successes. There were four paid returns in that bunch from Brian McRae, Bob Grich, Dennis Eckersley, and Doug DeCinces. Only one of those was a straggler. That was McRae at 213 days.
The end of the week was all failures. My first failures in several weeks. There were two and one was pretty interesting. The less interesting was from Rick Honeycutt who I just don’t see a good address for anymore. The second was a straggler failure. Several years ago, seven in fact, I tried Tim Wakefield via NESN. Tim sadly passed away last year, but the Red Sox got around to returning my cards. That was a failure after 2,305 days. Just feels kind of odd that they would return things after that amount of time.
The Recent TTM Success page is updated.
Have a great week!
