This was a huge weekend in our house… SHOW WEEK!
Both the kiddos were in the first play of the year with my oldest having a lead role. It was a really fun show “She Kills Monsters”. It’s basically partially set in the real world and then partially within a D&D game. There were fight scenes and funny scenes. All the kids did an amazing job.
It really amazes me what these kids do on their own in high school. They do everything for themselves in the end. The parents just help sell merch and concessions outside before and at intermission and that’s it.
And maybe even more amazing, they are already auditioning for their next show. Right after wearing themselves out with this one.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Other Notes
This week was amazing with 28 returns. I haven’t seen a week like that in a long time. I think I just happened to hit a sweet spot with some recent things I sent out to some more likely returners, plus some old stragglers coming back as well. Definitely better than the more standard 16-18 returns each week. Of course, maybe this doesn’t bode as well for next week. Especially considering this was a short week witht he holiday Friday.
There were two stragglers this week: Keith Lockhart at 507 days and Eric Metcalf at 201, just over my 200 day mark. I also had two failures this week from Jim Poole (who I think has ALS and I am not sure if he signs anymore) and Teddy Higuera (who I took a flyer on and I think had an old address).
The Recent TTM Success page is updated.
Have a great week!
