Is everyone ready for Halloween?
I am I guess. I am not a super big Halloween person as far as dressing up and things like that. That said I love seeing creative costumes from people. I just don’t like going through the effort all the time. Sometimes I get inspired but its fewer and farther between these days.
I also like Halloween candy… perhaps too much. I tend to eat it when its out and I can’t stop myself. And then what’s worse is that people try to get rid of it at work and I am the sucker that tends to take pieces. Argh!
Hopefully I can make it through tonight without snagging too many pieces.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Terry Harmon
- Tuesday: John Cullen, Bill Landrum
- Wednesday: Mark Moseley
- Thursday: Chris Donnels
- Friday: Jack Daugherty
- Saturday: Roy Smith
- Sunday: Haywood Jeffires
The #twofortuesday was Pittsburgh-themed with two Steel City teams represented: the Penguins and Pirates. It was a somewhat eclectic week with everything but basketball being represented. And there was a MVP in the mix too.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Just one “d”…
- Tuesday: Just a little Harn-isch…
- Tuesday: Maggs light…
- Wednesday: Lookin’ pretty Grimm…
- Thursday: Helloooo Mr. Wilson…
- Friday: Don’t let the horse out of the Barmes…
- Saturday: Like watching paint Dreiling…
- Sunday: X Marks the spot…
The theme for this coming week’s #twofortuesday is Houston-related with two teams from that city represented (or that used to be from that city). It will be a pretty eclectic week again with everything except for hockey being represented.
Other Notes
Ah, this week was much better.
It was actually a pretty good week with 17 returns and no failures. I got back a little bit of everything from a sport perspective and one paid return from Jerry Grote. As for stragglers I got back the following: Jeff Branson (930 days) and Jim Peterson (226 days).
