I can’t believe it’s almost the end of October already. It seems like the days are ticking away fast until the end of the year.
I’ve got two major projects going at work so I think that’s why things are going quickly. There never seems to be enough time to get things done.
But on the good news from this week, the band learned five new songs. Usually it takes us a little bit to pick some things up. I think this time around we happened to pick some things that were on the easier side. That certain helps grease the skids. It also helps when everyone puts in a little work ahead of time. Sometimes you get to practice and someone has had a rough week and just can’t put in the time to learn things. We’ve all been there.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Bruce Bochte
- Tuesday: Milt Thompson, Randy Grimes
- Wednesday: Jerry Manuel
- Thursday: Jim Harbaugh
- Friday: Tim McCormick
- Saturday: Joe Cirella
- Sunday: Jim Norris
I got a little bit of everything in this week with baseball, football, basketball AND hockey. But I didn’t get to a #twofortuesday theme.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Not Terry cloth…
- Tuesday: King Cullen…
- Tuesday: Landrum ho…
- Wednesday: Mr. Moseley…
- Thursday: Well Donnels…
- Friday: Don’t call me Daugherty…
- Saturday: Roy boy…
- Sunday: Only you can prevent forest Jeffires…
I got a theme for the #twofortuesday post this coming week. It will be all Steel City, so we’re headed to Pittsburgh. Other than that, it’s another pretty eclectic week.
Other Notes
After a week of ten returns you would think there’s nowhere to go but up. Unfortunately that was not the case. This week I got back eight returns and seven of them were successes. I’m sending about three ever mail day so as things go that’s a less than 50% return rate. I think I’ve been focusing on some coaches in hockey more recently and those tend to take longer so maybe that’s adding all this.
The failure this week was Davey Johnson. I’m not sure why as it was a “No Such Number” return and there’s been recent returns from him at that address. I decided not to get it back out. Other than that, no stragglers and no paid successful returns.
The Recent TTM Success page is updated.
Have a great week!
