So after a week of being on travel for a conference last week, I have turn around and do it again. Thankfully this is a shorter trip and I plan to gone just Monday and Tuesday. The hard part though is that it will probably be a 3-4 hour drive. All to do a meeting that we probably don’t really need to do in person anyway.
The hard part was that I feel like I didn’t really even have a weekend in all this. I got back late Friday, did yard work and some running around to kid events, then band practice today and more kid events. All that would be fine without the travel during the week.
I’ll just have to hope I don’t need to do much more travel going forward.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: Greg Adams
- Tuesday: Stan Papi, Juan Guzman
- Wednesday: Bob James
- Thursday: Dan Schatzeder, Breaking Blasters: 2021-22 O-Pee-Chee Hockey
- Friday: Jim Clancy
- Saturday: Greg Anthony, Breaking Blasters: 2020-21 O-Pee-Chee Platinum Hockey
- Sunday: Bill Ranford
So this was #ohcanada week. I filled it with anyone on a team from Canada. But as a bonus I not only was able to get out one Breaking Blaster post but two! And because it was #ohcanada week I made them hockey AND O-Pee-Chee.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Going to Orlando…
- Tuesday: To be Frank…
- Tuesday: Dave’s not here…
- Wednesday: Jackson 5…
- Thursday: Get in the Van…
- Friday: Steven is my name…
- Saturday: Novoa Doubt…
- Sunday: Ken I kick it?
Wow, the clues above are so generic. There’s not theme this week so that makes it even harder.
Other Notes
This was a really odd week and to make it even more odd, I wasn’t around for most of it. Usually a short week means less returns but it didn’t turn out that way this week. And with how up and down things had been for the last several weeks I’m a little surprised.
I got back 21 successes and two failures. That’s a pretty darn good week. The odd part was how they came in. I got eleven on Tuesday, seven on Friday and three on Saturday. The eleven on Tuesday was probably the most I’d ever gotten back in a day. They really pretty much all came in two days though.
There were two stragglers: Kevin Tapani at 343 days and Ricky Horton at 230 days. Almost everything else was fairly quick with only like three others over 40 days.

Have a great week!
