This time of year is always pretty eventful. This time around I have two three day weekends in a row with the two holidays. And on top of that, it was my birthday yesterday.
As I get older I tend to be a bit more “whim whammy” about it. That’s a term my family uses when you don’t know what you want and you just in general feel really “meh” about stuff. I realize that feeling “meh” is kind of not something you should feel to an extreme, but that’s the “whim whams.”
But in general that’s really just how I feel on the day. But it turned out to be a good day. My wife and I went to the George Mason game. That’s usually pretty fun these days because they have been winning. But I also just got to veg and play some video games and do some card stuff.
Back to the grind on Tuesday.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend… and Happy New Year!

Other Notes
This ended up being an OK week. But the fact is, it started as a great week. On Tuesday, the first mail day, I got back 14 returns. All but one of those was a success. I figured it might end up being a big week. But then I had three straight days of zero returns before getting four returns, one a failure, on Saturday.
So if you are counting along with me, that’s 16 successes with two failures. The two failures were from Adam Kennedy and Dennis Hopson. Adam Kennedy I thought I had the right address for and I am hoping I just mispelled the street name and someone was a stickler about it. I’m trying that one again. The other was for Dennis Hopson and he is charging $5 per. After getting that one back I feel like I remember that being the case on a past attempt too and I just forgot.
I didn’t get back any paid returns this past week, but I did get two stragglers. The oldest was from Brian Asselstine at 586 days and the other was from Frank White at 231 days.

Have a great week!
