The Story of the Autograph
Mike Lalor is a former defenseman in the NHL. He played from 1985 to 1997 with the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Washington Capitals, Winnipeg Jets, San Jose Sharks, and Dallas Stars.
Lalor was born in Buffalo, New York, but grew up in Fort Erie, Ontario. He played junior hockey form 1980 to 1985 and was never drafted. He started his career with Montreal and was part of their Stanley Cup winning squad in his rookie season in 1986 after winning the Calder Cup in Sherbrooke the year prior.
Never a goal scoring defenseman, he scored a career high seven in the 1991-92 season when he split his time with the Capitals and Jets after being traded. He had a career high in points with 20 in the 1988-89 season. Interestingly, that was also a year he spent with two teams after being traded as that was with the Canadiens and Blues. In 1996 Lalor represented the U.S. in the Olympics.
These days he owns a gym in Massachusetts.
The Score on Mike Lalor – 6.0
This is a tough one from Mike. The cards are very busy just as they are because hockey cards tend to be that way. Then the marker he used wasn’t the strongest. It seems like it wants to try to stick out, but it doesn’t come through all that well.
Thanks Mr. Lalor! I’m giving this return a 6.
