The Story of the Autograph
Kevin Mmahat is a former left-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He only appeared in one season, 1989, and played for the New York Yankees.
Mmahat is was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Tulane University and was then drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 31st round of the 1987 MLB draft. He never appeared for the Rangers in the majors though. His contract was purchased by the Yankees in June of 1988 and he would debut for them in the following season on September 9, 1989.
He would make four appearances to close out that season. His final major league line was an 0-2 record with a 12.91 ERA in four games with two starts and 7.2 innings pitched over those four appearances. In those 7.2 innings he gave up 13 hits and 12 runs, 11 of which were earned.

I love guys like Kevin who sign. He had just a cup of coffee in the majors but ended up with a few cards. It’s great to get those signed even though he didn’t spend that much time in the majors. It doesn’t mean that he isn’t part of baseball’s history and all that and the cards document his participation forever.
