The Story of the Autograph
Kent Anderson is a former infielder in the major leagues. He played for the California Angels during the 1989 and 1990 seasons.
Anderson was born and raised in South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina and was drafted by the Angels in the fourth round of the 1984 MLB Draft. After five years in the majors he made his major league debut on April 15, 1989.
He only played during two seasons and in only one did he play in more than half the games. In 1989 he played in 86 games and hit .229 with no homers and 17 RBI and then in 1990 he hit .308 with one homer and five RBI in 49 games. He played his final major league game on September 5, 1990.
Former major leaguer Mike Anderson is his brother.
The Score on Kent Anderson – 6.5
Kent has a sort of thin signature that kind of appears short but wide. You could definitely recognize it as his, but I like it with more of a tail like the 1990 Score and 1991 Score cards have. From what I’ve seen with Kent I don’t have a good idea of how many cards he signs consistently but I think three might be the max for him.
