The Story of the Autograph
John played for the Athletics in Kansas City and Oakland as well as in Seattle (the Pilots then). He played second base. Something I noticed while looking at his stats is that he had 5 different numbers for these three teams. He played the most in 1967-1969 but never a whole season. His career was made up of a lot of trades and demotions and outright releases.
The Score on John Donaldson – 8
.I really like that John signs with “Johnny.” He has a great “J” and “D” and the signature is at a great angle for the card. It also uses up a good amount of space. While not a very well-known player, he really makes up for it with a great autograph. The other thing I really like about this is that this is a card for the Pilots.
Thanks Johnny – 8!
