The Story of the Autograph
John D’Acquisto is a former right-handed starting and relief pitcher in the major leagues. He played for for six teams during his ten year career from 1973 to 1982. The majority of his time was spent with the San Francisco Giants but he also played for the St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Montreal Expos, California Angels, and Oakland Athletics.

John has been a really consistent signer over the years. I think a bunch of these cards don’t give him much of a shot to show off his nice signature, but he used a bit more thick marker this time and they came out well. I think the Pacific Senior League card shows it off the best. But I like that I have another card of him in a Giants uniform since that’s where he spent more time.
