The Story of the Autograph
Joe Nash is a former defensive and nose tackle in the NFL. He played from 1982 to 1996 and spent his entire career with the Seattle Seahawks.
Nash is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. He played his college football at Boston College and then went undrafted. The Seahawks signed him as a free agent and to start off his career he played seven games with one start.
He would go on to play a record 218 games with the franchise. He was pretty much a full time starter by his third season, after starting half the teams games in his second season, 1983. When he was made a full time starter he was selecting to the one and only Pro Bowl and was a First-Team All-Pro. That 1984 season saw him have seven sacks and score his one and only touchdown.
In 1985 he set a career high with nine sacks. He would go on to have 47.5 sacks for his career. He started his career at nose tackle and then in 1990 he was played defensive tackle. That would reduce his sack numbers throughout the rest of his career.
The Score on Joe Nash – 6.5
Joe has a nice signature. It came out really well on the 1990 Fleer card. That card gives him a great place to show it off. Unfortunately the 1990 Score cards do not. And of course in the place he would sign on those it’s the busiest and darkest part of the image.
Thanks Mr. Nash! I’m giving this return a 6.5 overall.
