The Story of the Autograph
Jim Lachey played as an offensive tackle in the NFL from 1985 to 1995. He played with the Chargers, Raiders, and Reskins and was a Pro Bowler, All-Pro and Super Bowl champion.
Lachey was born and raised in Ohio and went to Ohio State. He was a first team All-American in 1984. In 1985 he was drafted in the first round with the 12th overall pick of the NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. He spent the first three years of his career in San Diego and was selected to his first Pro Bowl in his last year there.
In 1988 he moved on to the Raiders and then the Redskins. He was a member of the famed Hogs in Washington where he helped picked up two more Pro Bowl and all of his three first team All-Pro honors. After the 1991 season he helped the team win Super Bowl XXVI.
These days Lachey works as a radio analyst for Buckeyes football.

Jim has a solid signature but unfortunately some of these cards are a little too busy or too dark to really show it off. My favorite has to be the art card from the 1991 Pro Set set. Those come out really well and I have a couple of them signed.
