The Story of the Autograph
Jim Kern is a former relief pitcher and closer in the major leagues. He played from 1974 to 1986 with the Cleveland Indians (twice), Texas Rangers, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, and Milwaukee Brewers.

Jim usually has some great facial hair so it’s always nice to have a few cards that put that on display. In the past he’s used an even thinner marker than what he used on these. But this return is a lot better than other returns I’ve gotten from him. That 1982 Donruss is my favorite of this bunch, and that isn’t all to do with the ink on there.
