The Story of the Autograph
Jerry Augustine was a left handed starter and reliever in major league baseball. His whole career, from 1975 through 1984, was spent with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Jerry’s best seasons came in 1978 when he was a starter, and 1979 when he was mostly a reliever. He played during a really successful period in Milwaukee and in those two years he had winning records, but he ERA was a bit on the high side as it was for most of his career. After Jerry played he coach the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers baseball team. Nowadays he works as a color analyst for the Brewers.

Jerry has a great signature. Some of these I like better than others, but overall this is a great return. The 1984 card was a little smudged or something. But all of the others, especially the 81, 79 and 83 cards are really strong. They all use a great marker and those three specifically are huge signatures for the card. The 80 is good, but he signed his face. I think a lot of times when there is a facsimile signature guys will try to avoid signing over it. That would have been find with me this time as that marker he used would have overpowered it.
