The Story of the Autograph
Jeff Uhlenhake is a former center in the National Football League. He played from 1989 to 1997 with the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, and Washington Football Team.
Uhlenhake was born in Indiana and raised in Ohio. He went on to play at Ohio State where he was a four year starter, first as a guard and then as a center in his junior and senior years. He was eventually co-captain and the team’s only All-America selection in his senior year. The Dolphins drafted him in the fifth round of the 1989 NFL Draft. He would start 112 of the 119 games he played in his career.
He would coach at the NFL and high school level and then work as part of the strength and conditioning team for Ohio State. He also had a small role in “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.”
The Score on Jeff Uhlenhake – 6.0
Jeff has a pretty cool signature. That “U” is pretty different when you look at the Score card and a little more normal, yet similar in style, on the Pro Set card. The Score card is definitely the better one as the Pro Set card didn’t seem to take the ink very well. That’s not usually something you see on the Pro Set cards of those days though.
Thanks Mr. Uhlenhake! I’m giving this return a 6.
