The Story of the Autograph
Jay Bell is a former shortstop and second baseman in the major leagues. He spent eighteen seasons in the bigs between 1986 and 2003. During that time he played for the Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates, Kansas City Royals, Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets.

Whenever I’ve gotten Jay’s singature back over the years, it always makes me think that his signature is getting more and more simplified. But it’s not really. He’s just got seven letters in his name so how complicated can it get. He always puts a really large signature on your cards considering all that too. It’s a lot for only a few letters.
