The Story of the Autograph
Dave Dravecky is a former left-handed starting pitcher in the major leagues. His career spanned from 1982 to 1989 when it was ended by cancer and a broken arm during his recovery which eventually was amputated. During that time he played for the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants.
This is my fourth successful return from him. To find out more about him, check out the following posts:
The Score on Dave Dravecky – 7.5
Dave always has a beautiful signature. I like how he usually interlocks those “Ds” and has that repetitive element and I always like the way he makes the end of his last name. Something I noticed about these cards this time… I didn’t realize that the Padres went to the brown and orange jerseys so early in the 80’s. For some reason I thought it was a lot later. I guess not being a fan of the Padres it’s not something I really have in the memory bank.
Thanks Mr. Dravecky! I’m giving this return a 7.5.
