The Story of the Autograph
Dan Schatzeder is a former pitcher in the major leagues. He mostly pitched in relief during his fifteen year career. He spent time with the Montreal Expos (twice), Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins (twice), Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, New York Mets, and Kansas City Royals.

I’ve always felt that Dan has a somewhat short signature for what seems like a pretty long name. I guess it’s only really his last name that is long, but in his signature, his first name takes up almost as much space. My favorite return from this bunch is the 1985 Fleer card. The blue marker comes out really well on that with the Expos colors.
