The Story of the Autograph
Chris Snopek is a former infielder in the major leagues. He played for the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox between 1995 and 1998.
Snopek is a native of Kentucky. He was first drafted by the Texas Rangers out of high school in 1989 in the 11th round of the MLB Draft but he did sign. He went on to attend the University of Mississippi and was then drafted by the White Sox in the sixth round of the 1992 MLB Draft. He would make his debut for them on July 31, 1995.
He never played much more than half a season in the major leagues with the most being in 1997 when he played in 86 games for Chicago. He showed some power the year prior when he hit a career high six home runs in 46 games and 104 ABs. But then in 1997 he got almost 300 ABs and hit .218 with five homers and a career high 35 RBI.
He would bounce up and down to the minors throughout his career with the White Sox and then in 1998 he traded Sox colors. The Red Sox traded a minor leaguer for him. He only played in eight games to finish out that season and didn’t appear in the majors after that season.

I like an alternate color marker usually. Unfortunately this purple isn’t doing it for me. It’s a bit too transparent. Not that another marker would have been all that better with all that black in the chicago uniforms though. There’s not much for him to do with these in the end.
