The Story of the Autograph
Bill Long is a former right-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He worked as both a starter and reliever for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Montreal Expos from 1985 to 1991.

The Score on Bill Long – 7.0
I’ve always like Bill’s big fat “B” and then tall skinny “L”. I guess that goes with the shape of those letters but I like those two opposite in the signature. I also like how he ends up writing part of his firs name inside the “B”. Now some White Sox uniforms don’t give a great place to sign because of either navy blue or black, but this era Bill mostly played in has some nice white uniforms that worked great on these cards.
