The Story of the Autograph
Alan Bannister is a former outfielder and infielder in the major leagues. He played from 1974 to 1985 with the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers.

The Score on Alan Bannister – 6.5
Alan has a pretty standard signature and then… whoa… what’s that little loop doing in there? I’m not sure what it’s for or if it’s for anything because it doesn’t really go with a letter in his name. That doesn’t mean I don’t like it because it gives his signature a bit of extra character. It’s definitely something you would pick out as his if you were trying to pick out his signature in a lineup.
