The Story of the Autograph
Harvey Pulliam is a former outfielder in the major leagues, in Nippon Professional Baseball in Japan and in Korea. He played from 1991 to 2000 with the Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, Orix BlueWave and SK Wyverns.
Pulliam is a native San Francisco California. He was drafted out of high school by the Royals in the third round of the 1986 MLB Draft. After several years in the minors he debuted on August 10, 1991. In his three years up and down with the Royals he never played more than 27 games in a season. He did that in the 1993 season.
He was a free agent in 1994 when he was signed by the San Diego Padres. He never saw major league time with them and spent that whole season in the minors. He then signed as a free agent with the Rockies in 1995 and spent the next three seasons there and still bounced up and down with the big club. After the 1997 season he was traded to the Diamondback for Chuck McElroy.
He would never play in Arizona though. They traded his rights to the Orix BlueWave in Japan and he spent the rest of his playing days in Japan and Korea.
The Score on Harvey Pulliam – 7.0
This was one of those new signers that I like finding. Not that I discover them, but that others do and I can catch them while they are signing. That’s a great reason to follow other folks on social media and see what they are getting back so you can see who you might need to research a bit more.
Thanks Mr. Pulliam! I’m giving this return a 7 overall.
