The Story of the Autograph
Mark Robinson is a former safety in the National Football League. He played from 1984 to 1990 with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Robinson was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Maryland. He went to college at Penn State University. While there is was an All-American for the Nittany Lions and he also was with them for their 1982 National Championship. The Chiefs then drafted him with a fourth round pick in the 1984 NFL Draft.
He played with the Chiefs from 1984 to 1987. He was mostly a bench player and only started as many as four games, which he did in 1987. He moved on to the Bucs where he was a started more games including all of the games he played in his final two seasons. He had a career high six interceptions in 1989 and added to that three fumble recoveries and a career high 2.5 sacks in what was his best season in the NFL.
These days he works as the color analyst for the University of South Florida radio broadcasts. He also hosts a show on the radio.
The Score on Mark Robinson – 8.0
This is a great return from Mark. The red marker really came out great on these but especially on the 1991 Pro Set and 1991 Score cards. It really makes things pop especially with all that pumpkin color on these cards that adds to it.
