The Story of the Autograph
Keith Jennings is a former guard in the NBA and overseas. He played from 1991 to 2004 overall but from 1992 to 1995 he played for the Golden State Warriors. In other years he played for teams in Germany, France, Spain, Russia and Turkey.
Jennings was born and raised in Culpeper, Virginia. He went to East Tennessee State and in his senior year led the country in three point field goals and shooting 59%. He went undrafted by NBA teams and starting playing in a lower league and overseas. The Warriors picked him up in 1992 and he played in 164 games across three seasons with them. The most minutes he would average in a season was 21.5 in his final year.
He went back to Europe and moved a round a bit. He did find success in France with Le Mans in 1999. That season he was the French League Foreigh MVP and the French League Best Scorer.
In more recent years he’s coached in high school and college. These days he coaches at Lees-McRae College in North Carolina.
The Score on Keith Jennings – 6.5
Keith has a nice signature and puts a good amount of ink on your card. But like a lot of basketball cards they are dark and busy and don’t give him a good chance to show it off. But these are some of my favorite cards to get signed simply for the finish on the cards. They seem to take signatures well, especially those Fleer Ultra cards.
Thanks Mr. Jennings! I’m giving this return a 6.5.
