Review / Preview – Week of 3/14

TTM Review Preview

Baseball is back baby! And oddly enough, so was snow… yes, I said snow.

We had a Bomb Cyclone hit out area this weekend. We basically went from something like the 50s on Friday to blizzard like conditions and a couple inches of rain and then a couple inches of snow. Plus the wind was pretty fierce. It was definitely freaking freezing a bit yesterday. And then somehow we will be back in the 60’s by the end of this week. Ay yay yay!

But back to baseball… I am definitely psyched. While it’s probably a bit tainted after the lock out, its my favorite sport so I don’t know how I can not be excited for a new season. I’ll have to figure out my MLB package again though because I stopped my auto-renew before the new came out (like one day before the date… ugh).

I’ll be celebrating baseball being back in some more current/recent player posts this week, more on that below.

Stay safe and healthy out there!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

Another week of no themes. I did get the #twofortuesday both on Tuesday this week though, so that was a win!

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: ???
  • Tuesday: ???
  • Tuesday: ???
  • Wednesday: ???
  • Thursday: ???
  • Friday: ???
  • Saturday: ???
  • Sunday: ???

No special theme for the #twofortuesday this week. But since baseball is back I am going all in with current and recent players in my backlog this week. No one post a day for me. I went through all of my backlog and found everything that I haven’t posted for current and recent (like retired someone in the last five or so years). So you’re going to see a lot more than you usually see of me this week. Hope you enjoy it!

Other Notes

I’ve been talking about how the weeks have been up and down, well this week the days were up and down within the week. In the beginning of the week I got a bunch. Then I got virtually nothing in the middle of the week. And finally Saturday brought a good bunch. In total I ended up with 21 returns this week.

Of note was one pretty good straggler… John Wathan. That one was out for 386 days. Other than that I got some good 70’s cards signed from Bob Johnson, Gary Nolan, and Clay Carroll. Plus I got one of my favorite signers back… Billy Ashley.

The new Recent TTM Success is updated.

Have a great week!
