This week I was happy to get another box of cards from BaseballCardStore.ca. I love that site. If you are willing to take your time with it and really go through it, I think it’s a gold mine for getting cards for TTMs. At 10 cents a card I don’t think you can go wrong.
This time I was really concentrating on basketball and baseball cards. I was realizing that I was writing some for some guys I hadn’t tried before and I didn’t have many cards for them. So I focused on getting cards for them and then of course I found a few more that I wanted. But just a few though.
Definitely going to get some more basketball and football attempts out.
Hope everyone is doing well!
The Review
Here’s what happened on the blog last week:
- Monday: David Nied
- Tuesday: Ernie Whitt, Bobby Witt
- Wednesday: Jose Lind
- Thursday: Brian Holman
- Friday: John Hiller
- Saturday: Dan Pasqua
- Sunday: Ken Schrom
This week’s #twofortuesday was a little different. Usually I do it based off the the team or maybe the city. This time though I went off the name. Well, more accurately the sound of the name.
The Preview
Here’s what I have coming up for this week:
- Monday: Romero, Romero, where for art thou, Romero…
- Tuesday: Scotty doesn’t know…
- Tuesday: Tom Tom…
- Wednesday: Mikey likes it…
- Thursday: Jonesy…
- Friday: Ballard duck…
- Saturday: All Ryal-ed up…
- Sunday: Off the Mark…
The #twofortuesday this week is going to be all about the Minnesota Twins. I don’t think I did that great with the puns though. Hopefully I think of something better when I get to post them for you.
Other Notes
There is definitely a theme going on. Another week of 14 returns this week. I still haven’t had that breakout week (or hopefully weeks) that I was really looking for. I gotta think that at some point all the the attempts I’m sending out are going to come back for me in a big way. I’ll just tell myself that they are all building them up for an explosion of returns for me – LOL!
Nothing too crazy came back this week but I did get some first-timers for me: Justin De Fratus, Steve Cox, Rich Thompson, Aaron Ledesma and Dave Cash all came back. I did get one failure and that was Joe Rudi. He was out for a really long time and referred me to PastPros. Funny that Dave Cash did the same, but still signed the cards.
Have a great week!
