Review / Preview – Week of 2/22

TTM Review Preview

Are you behind the times? I know I am, in several different ways. This was one of those weeks where I felt like it in different ways.

First, I’m a middle-aged, white dude, father, so I have my kids to remind me of everything that entails with regard to being behind the times. I’m not that bad (I hope), but I’ll admit to being a stereotype in that regard.

The other ways I felt behind the times this week were a bit more immediate. I was getting out posts later than I planned (like this one last week), I was behind the neighbors in doing some things I normally get to do for them and they did it first, and I even somehow overslept during the week and got a later start. (Those might not be truly what we think of with “behind the times” but I’m working a theme here people – give me a break!)

Hopefully a reset this week will give me a fresh start and I can stay ahead of things a bit more this week.

Stay safe out there!

The Review

Here’s what happened on the blog last week:

We had some really different signatures this week. From the scribbles of Ken Holtzman to the fanciness of Steve Nicosia, there seemed to be a little bit of everything. Plus there was more minor league entertainment for you.

The Preview

Here’s what I have coming up for this week:

  • Monday: Loynd of pork…
  • Tuesday: Welcome Back Cottier…
  • Tuesday: Watch our for dem Terries…
  • Wednesday: I’ve Got the Power…
  • Thursday: Dougie Fresh…
  • Friday: Slurpee-sarski…
  • Saturday: Like a Livingstone…
  • Sunday: I wonder if he had a band like Steve…

Some days these are harder than others. I feel like this is another one of those weeks where I’m hit or miss on the clues and their entertainment value.

Other Notes

Another really great week with 18 returns. February is already another really strong month and I still have a week to really kill it. It’s possible that another good week will somehow beat a longer month in January. I have a feeling it will be pretty normal though and I will end up in about the same place as last month. That will still be pretty awesome.

My backlog is now at 385. A pretty insane number and getting close to meaning I have daily posts for up to a year. Remember the #twofortuesday posts stretch it some.

Have a great week!
