The Story of the Autograph
Jeremy Bonderman is a former right-handed pitcher in the major leagues. He played from 2003 to 2013 for the Detroit Tigers (twice) and Oakland Athletics.
Bonderman is a natice of the state of Washington. He was a first round draft pick of the Oakland Athletics in 2001 with the 26th overall pick of the MLB Draft. He is the only high school junior ever to be drafted as a first round pick. He had received his GED and petitioned MLB to become draft-eligible. He didn’t make it to the majors with the A’s to start though. He was involved as the player to be named later win the 2002 deal that sent him, Carlos Pena, and Franlyn German to the Detroit Tigers. Bonderman made his major league debut a year later on April 2, 2003.
His first season he went 6-19 with a 5.56 ERA. But while that wasn’t a great start to a career, he started to improve. After going 11-13 the next year he then put up three consecutive winning seasons with the Tigers (14-13, 14-8 and 11-9). He always had a pretty high ERA with his best being in 2006 when he put up a 4.08 ERA. That year he started game four of the ALDS against the Yankees and put up five perfect innings before giving up a hit. Unfortunately the Tigers went to the World Series but lost.
Unfortunately starting in 2008 he started having injury and medical issues. He missed almost all of that season after a procedure to remove a blood clot. Then shoulder issues were causing recurring pain in years after that. He missed a few years after 2010 and made a comeback to the majors in 2013.
The Score on Jeremy Bonderman – 7.0
This was my first try for Jeremy and I didn’t know exactly what I would get back. I sent him three but he only returned back one signed so I don’t know if he is strictly one per but that seems like it might be the case. I was a little worried about the cards I sent because while they look great signed, they tend to either smear or not take the ink well. These held up though.
Thanks Mr. Bonderman! I’m giving this return a 7.

He is not strictly one per. He signed three for me last month.
Good to know – Thanks!
