The Story of the Autograph
Chris Iannetta has played for a few teams. The cards he signed to me are with the Rockies, his first team. Chris got his first major league hit off of Jake Peavy which isn’t too shabby. He took some time to really break into the league after that hit in August of 2006 and his first good season was 2008 in Colorado. After Colorado he played in Anaheim and caught Jered Weaver’s first no-hitter in 2012.
In May of this year Iannetta was hit by a pitch and suffered a broken nose along with four fractured teeth and stitches on his lips. I hope your recovering well Chris! Thanks for the auto!
The Score on Chris Iannetta – 5.5
When I first opened the envelope I almost thought this was in purple. That would have been pretty cool. Even though it’s blue it does look purple. Chris has pretty good signature. He uses just the “C” initial and then that crazy “I”. It almost looks like two Cs. He uses up the card pretty well. Not a super exciting signature, but still very much appreciated.
5.5 is the score.
